I'm getting really bad lag/packet loss on the server and horrible load times on the VO website. It was fine earlier today before the DNS failure (and there was no lag ingame while the DNS was out, though I had obvious problems checking the load times of the web pages). Could this be caused by the same changes that killed caused the DNS problem (obviously a DNS problem doesn't cause lag) or is it something else? It seemed like other people were experiencing it too though not everyone. I'm not getting any internet slow downs for anything else.
This was a lot worse than when things got bad during the stress test with network bugs, hopefully it's just problems with moving the servers, etc.

Our servers are all doing ok, aside from the existing webserver issue (occasional freakout). Nothing like this. If there's a definite problem, let us know. Our ISP is turning up new connections to tier-1 networks (Level3 and the like).. which is usually a *good* thing, the more diverse the connectivity and extensive the bandwidth, the better off we all are.. but things can also go awry, so they might be having problems with a particular provider and not be aware of it.

Yesterday I lag died 6 times. Since I'm on an unencumbered cable connection, and others were lag dying at the same times, and weren't on the same ISP, it's almost certainly an issue with VO's ISP.

I haven't played yet today, but I'll give a report on my luck when I do.

In the meantime, I've noticed lag being less of, but still an issue for a good number of people in VO. Less fatalities, but people are getting hit by a shot or two while the game lags.

I get bad lag hiccup everytime a convoy launches. I don't know if it's related. It's enough that I've died 3 times now to bots with gatlings, just a second of lag when fighting 2 or 3 gaurdians is easily enough to do you in. I need a 5 second warning so I can run before they launch. I don't know if it's the server or my client but it is consistant and I hear other comments of lag in the chat when it happens to me.
