Cargo/convoy thing
Ok a lot of new people are asking about this so I though i'd start a thread. Basicly all you do is either escort your nations cargo to it's delivery or kill an enemys cargo. If you watch in Channel 201 for itani and 202 for secro it will tell you where and when convoys are leaving and for where. I know there is more detail to this but i'll leave that to someone more well versed in this whole thing, so please post away!
A word to the newbie UITs.
You might think your neutral, but your really not. If you get in the way of the cargo wars you will be slaughtered.
With that in mind, it's a good idea to learn the routes and know that if you see a Serco or Itani in those areas you need to rip their tits off cuz they won't be playing nice with you.

Thanks for this post!!! Someone really should stick this in a manual or something....
If you're UIT and planning to participate in CtC, pick a side. Players who attack both convoys and deliver to both stations are NOT appreciated by either side. And make it very well known to players of that nation that you intend to support them. This does not mean that they will trust you immediately but that they probably won't attack you when you leave the no-fire zone. Once you've gotten your name on the CtC page as a supporter, then you will be trusted.
If you're flying through a sector that the transport and any escort players are in, be certain that they know YOU'RE there and are going to keep a VERY close eye on you. If you don't want to be considered hostile and attacked, make sure that you don't get anywhere near the transport. and if possible, don't fly on the same vector. If you're on a course that's head on towards the transport (say the transport is flying towards a wormhole and you're flying away from the wormhole, sorry for the inconvenience, but choose a different course that will take you quite obviously around the transport.
Finally, if you plan on attacking a transport, remember that the team who is behind in the CtC will probably be more protective of their transport. Okay, let me rephrase that: if the Serco are behind, they will most likely be far more protective of their transport than the Itani would be if they were behind (why do you think the Serco keep winning?). The more a team is behind, the more protective they will be.
