using fraps i created a couple of videos, first is a general overview of vendetta ( www.dm04.co.uk/stuff/vendetta.avi ), the second is my failed attempt to kill a hive queen ( www.myklittle.co.uk/stuff/myBattleWithTheHiveQueen.avi ).

Both are divX avi, i will try and get a quicktime version up soon(tm). first is ~20MB, second is ~5.5MB.

Snapz X Pro will do this

Snapz X Pro 2 works better for capturing movies than Snapz Pro X 1.0. Better processor usage so large high-framerate captures are possible on less powerful machines - don't get me wrong, you'll need a heck of a powerful machine to do a huge capture, but running in windowed mode would allow Vendetta to be playable and Snapz Pro X to capture at full framerate.

i download this and only get the sound, i dont have any video, and i wanna know if im in this video cuz you, me, and a couple other ppl from the guild went and fought a quuen. if this is the same queen can u try to fix the download if anything is wrong with it.

first off, the avi's require divX, if you still have problems d/l the quicktime (MPEG4).

Unfortunately its not the video of you blue_corsair, its my own attempt at killing a queen (then myself and xava).

Nice ! I wish I could capture video on my aging Powerbook... It's great to see how other people fight bots. To say the least, your fighting style has little in common with mine, I would like a couple duel with you if you wish.

Also, what is this blue weapon with the LOUD sound and high fire rate, besides the Tachs ?

I tried to use Snapz, it crashed Vendetta...

music's 'happy ever after' by ian brown (ex-stone roses), the blue firing thing is a chaos swarm missile launcher. The killing of bots in the video was purely for artistic purposes ;) but i definately want to record some PvP sometime (though it is quite hard to fight with fraps running)...

also, if anyone else is willing to host mirrors it'd be helpful, i only have so much bandwidth per month....(also be careful about spreading it around, while its not-for-profit it is commercial music)

How do you get the video? Is it something in the game, or software or something, or just lots of cords and a recording device?

no, it's a tool that record your actual desktop to a movie.

wow. Watched videos. If I didn't already like this game ( though I can't play because my college blocks the necessary ports... (mf'ers......)) I'd most definitely want to try it now. Nice job with music btw, definitely puts some adrenaline into the action.

for the last time :) the blue quick firing thing is a CHAOS SWARM MISSILE LAUNCHER its heavy 7 (or 6 at odia IIRC), the locust swarm is almost as good and it 1 heavy level down.

I have webspace, with uuuumongus amounts of bandwidth, and it wont be posted in any corp style place, more friends and email contacts/forums I frequent.
