I need some help.

Can someone tell me how much XP is required to qualify for each license test.

Thanks.

It begins at 2000 for each levelable thingy, you can check it out in your character info, k for out of station, character info button in the character info tab for in station. There will be some information like this"

Combat 0 (1234/2000)
Left is the skill and current level. The left number of the right thing is your current experience, the right number is the experience needed for your next level.

2000, 5000, 9500, 16500 are the first four levels.

Whoa, did I read the name of the original poster correctly?

He's baaaack... :P
Nov 06, 2004 Spellcast link
2000, 5000, 9500, 16520, 26375, 41563, 64345, 98518, 149773, 226660, 341990

its effectively (Level) *(1.5) + (2000)

So, about how many hours does it take to get 341990 XP? Or for that matter, has anyone gotten that far yet?
Nov 07, 2004 RelayeR link
Yes, players have gotten that far...and beyond...in beta. I'm not 100% certain but I think Spellcast is the highest level I've seen so far.

I'm working on beating spellcast there, but there was a convoy who got in my way.... :P

well it took me 7 hours to hit 6/7/5/1 and that was with some trading in there for money to lvl.

to hit lvl 10 across it would probably take me another 10 hours of botting time, plus lots of trading. Trade xp takes by far the longest for me.

Wow, I must be levelling REALLY slowly. In my 8-hour free trial, I made 2/2/1/1 and 70k credits.
Nov 07, 2004 sarahanne link
nah durgia is an old pro who's showing off. Desides this game isn't a leveling treadmill so after 4/4/4/4 there's no rush IMHO.

My levels are 8/10*/10/6
I have a life, my job just happens to be 3 12 hour days and a 6 hour day each week so i have lots of time off. Since my wife's job seems to always have her working on the days i'm not.... Vendetta!!

*i need to get the cash for this one, i've been lax in my trading lately

For level 10 in a weapons skill, an old pro can probably hit it inside of 15 hours, as you get XP for each bot killed with the weapon.

For level 10 combat, e-gads. I'm currently just at level 8 (i have my prom) and it took approximately 20 hours of play working specifically on combat.

Trade XP is definitely the most boring to gain in, but i think in the long run i could level trade faster than combat.

When I was botting as most, I was quite a bit more effective than spellcast, though lately I've suffered lag quite a bit :/

currently 8/9*/9/6

(Havent bothered updating to level 10), and feeling like wasting a few more bots before bedtime....

I'm eligible for 7/8/8/0 <- gotta work on that trade... eventually...., but just can't pay for it yet :) I tend to spend a lot of time helping new players, so I have to stop playing for extended periods to help. That, and school usually soaks a lot of time - unless I can find reasons to cut corners.

Wow. OK, so what am I doing wrong?

I'm 7 hours into my freebie and I'm still 0/0/0/0!! I'm barely half way to level 1 for light weapons and I've doing the beginner combat mission almost continually.

Is that the problem? Should I focus on different missions?

Kill harder bots.
If all you do is smash the easiest bots all day then you might aswell be sight-seeing.

I don't play to level, I level as I play, so my levels are a bit low. I have fun, and that matters alot more to me.
Nov 14, 2004 Spider link
Hmm. Took me about an hour to get level 1, then another hour to get level 2.

I think you're doing something wrong.
