Okay, since the release currently lacks a ChangeLog:

Neutral stars renamed from NS1 / NS2 .. to... other. things
(not in charinfo display)

New bevel around chat entry
New distance meter
Rumour that the Homers are fixed
tach3 are fixed
New meteor fields and more stations

Messages on your "off" tab appear and fade out on-screen
(this also happens when you toggle tabs, which is annoying)

People out of range fade out in the "u" list. (black doesnt fade very well)

- group HUD element properly grows/shrinks with HUDscale
- changed invul timers to be 2 seconds after cinematics end
- /guild abdicate -> /guild resign
- options menu and console should show up above loading screen
now
- secondary chat tab displays under the active chat tab and then
fades out
- stations that hate you won't let you dock if you died and it's
your home station. It will bounce you to Corvus right now. It
will bounce you to the nearest non-hate station later.
- new Character Creation menu
- borders around edit boxes, list boxes and nav maps
- joystick calibration menu for OS X. press Reset and then move
the axis you need calibrated back and forth.
- scanner effect should be visible across the network and locally
in 1st person mode
- changed homing missile characteristics to be more in line with
how they were previously
- muting both sound and music doesn't cause the last bit of sound
to infinitely repeat
- License test availability message more accurate. (don't need to
go to capitol station, just any nation station.)
- capture-the-cargo convoys carry more cargo now
- Don't get stupidly high standing increase when you deliver ctf
cargo
- Don't get bot kill reward when killing ctf transports.
- Changed around kill standings a bit.
- Should now get negative standing when you kill any member of a
ctf convoy.
- there's no penalty for killing seekers (since apparently
seekers kamikazeeing would sometimes affect the player's
standing.)
- Made the four types of collectors a little easier
- new login menu
- fixed some nav problems with storms
- different HUD indicators for wormhole/storm exit/other
navpoints
- /me works in sector chat now
- changed Money to Credits in HUD info display
- no more erroneous turbo spurt noise in station
- new proximity HUD display
- Neutral Star 1-4 now have names.
- don't display an error when player selects their already active
ship in the ship select menu
- /dump should warn you when it's unable to save the image
(possibly due to full harddrive)

i still think every beta-tester should be mailed with the news each time there is a new patch.
going to test the changes right now.
i understand the changes where not listed in the client initially, i guess that means the devs are really working their buts on the game, so i understand why they leave all non-core issues asside.
good work again, i hope the missiles were not completely nerfed.
