I have a question about getting licences...
Do different races find certain licences easier to get or are do you have to put in the same effort in ...what ever race your are?

As I'm netural I have found it alot easier to gain trade level 1 licence than gain any of the other licences.
I have killed over a 100 bots but am only just over half way to my combat licence :(
Would it be any different for the other two races?

get combat mission. it tells you to kill collector bots... find sector with only one type of bots inside and start killing (go for repairs if needed, dont die)... when you reach 50 bots killed, you get 1k xp every 5kills. if you finish (around 95kills i think) you should have around 16k xp in combat (good for lvl4 in combat)

1k every 5 kills? are you sure or does that only works with neutral fraction?

You need to get up to 50 consecutive kills to start raking in the 1k per 5.

if you kill 50 bots without dieing or logging or ending the mission you will get 1000/350/350 or so. Somewhere around 100 bots you should be at lvl 4 and the mission will end. (90-115 bots)

Combat xp is the hardest of any to get. I am 4/8/6/1 right now after killing around 400 bots*edit*- this is my chars 3rd day of exhistance-*edit*. Light and Heavy weapons are by far the easiest with Trade coming up in the middle.

It takes me about 5 hours to lvl 1 combat lvl after the initial mission

Takes 1 hour to lvl Light or Heavy

Takes about 2 hours for me to lvl in Trade.

Everybody is different of course depending on what you know and how you do it.

If you do group missions combat exp is easy to get.

Have you got to type /group into the chat system, to get to the group missions?

its getting on my nerves to get heavy weapons licenses.. any ideas? i hate these poor rocket launcher.. any other ways?

my current stats are 4/3/2/1

any hints to level up fast?also regarding to ships and weapons..

Get a hog and use the small wep port to get artemis collectors with just a little life left and then smack them with a missle from the large port till you can get Heavy 3 i think you get the plasma dev. After that its easy to get heavy exp.

Artemis Collectors are 100 each. Go to a sector with just Artemis it goes pretty fast.
