Just a little pointer you may find useful in an ion storm (or any other sector for that matter) If you press U as soon as you enter the sector you will get a listing of all bots, players etc. by doing this you can determine whether it is worth fighting or making a quick retreat to the exit.

Just wish there was a way of identifying cargo.
