what are the amounts of credits you have after playing for how long?
I am curious what the amounts are and i would also like to know what ships cost in higher levels and goods as well? Thanks.
Well, a Vulture (level 4ish, I believe) costs around 5000. A Valkyrie (level 12?) costs 30,000. Or, that's the way it was the last time I was able to buy a valk, i.e. version 3.3 ;-).
I play since a few days and i have about 1000000 credits; took me ~3 hours to make the credits ;)
valks are a lot cheaper now as are all specials. Before the reset one had cost me about 9k (without battery and weapons). Oh and they are available from combat 8. :)
ok so basically what you guys are saying is that money is never an issue right? I played 2 days and I am at 750k right now. easily getting 1 million today...
I though ships would get MUCH more expensive than what you are saying.

The economy in VO is volatile that way. Easy come, easy go. It works well that way.
As reference to a similar economic model, Jumpgate has a more 'stable' economy. Money is harder to make, but you have ship insurance and so when you die you get most it back. So it comes in slow and leaves slow. Money is much more solid.
I prefer the volatile method. Makes me care about losing money much less, thus I'm not as upset when I die.

Capital ships will probably be in the multimillion credit range.
Yeah, atm we are all only flying fighters, the devs have said they will be adding capital ships such as frigates and cruisers later on, and i can imagine they won't be cheap :)
