mission info before accepting?

Hmm, I must admit that I am new. I took a few missions, but one thing that surprised me was that you don't seem to get any details before you accept a mission. I would really like to know how much it pays for example. Am I just too dumb to find it, or is that info really missing?

As it stands not Tinwhistle, you don't get the info until you take the mission.

The missions are just placeholders to test the mission framework. Later on, once we have real story driven missions, you'll probably get more info.

Thanks, that's all I wanted to hear. You know, at first I found the lack of info strange. I come from EVE, where you have so much information at your fingertips that it can overwhelm you if you are not careful.
For example I was disappointed that I could not see the prices for trade goods at different stations, or even if certain goods are for sale there at all.
But then it reminded me of the good old times of Elite. Knowing the universe and keeping good records suddenly means something again. I am curious how it will evolve.

Yeah, they should have a more prominent disclaimer that this is still really just an engine and network test.

I am also excited about the things there will be once the actual content design gets started.

This is something I have brought up before. It is especially true with cargo missions, and it seems that there has been some progress, as some cargo
missions now state the amount of cargo and to where up front. But because
you will take a "standing" reduction if you accept a mission and then turn it
down because you can't do it, my advice has always been: "Don't accept a
mission unless there is enough info."

If tinwhistles are made of tin, what do they make foghorns out of??
