I got a email from another player, telling me that it was yet another reset, and many n00bs online, so I started vendetta and got a shock , never seen so many n00bs asking for help at the same time.
The problem is that we must also level up, and do combat missions, and it's very hard to just stop and answer all the time.
There is a lot of people that will help you, but for the moment it's so much traffic on channel 100 and personal messages and so on, so helpful players get overloaded and must stay docked at level 0/0/0/0 if we answer everything.
Start with the tutorial mission, and try to find things here when you don't play, then after awhile you will find someone that can mentor you, and learn you some combat moves.
Just don't think nobody will help you, we will, but when I logged in it was 10-20 old beta testers and maybe 300 new.
A mentor also need some time to get levels, money, ship, battery, weapons first, so he/she can protect you.

yeah i agree, once ppl lvl up some, like in a week or 2, then you will get a mentor no prob. just give it some time and ppl will help you.
CenV I'll mentor ya! Showing newbs around is my favorite thing to do and I've been playing since Vendetta Test ver 3.2.0 (a long time ago) so I've learned a few tricks of the trade ;). Send me a tell in game, I'm normally on as "Phaserlight"
e.g.:
/msg "Phaserlight" hi there, will you be my mentor?

Yeah, and if anyone else wants a mentor, I'd be more than happy to help you. I've been around here a year and I've heard most everything that can go on.
Some of us "n00bs" who have been around this sort of game before are taking to Vendetta like a fish to water, as well; we'll try to help out anyone who is particularly befuddled.
