Friday, August 20, 2004 Release Dates and Beta Expansion
Vendetta Online will be going gold in early September, with a final street date of October 5th. Pricing data and preorder information will be posted in the near future. Pre-order promotions will be offered to Earth & Beyond users and others. We will be expanding our Beta in the near future. Those who wish to be notified when we open to additional beta accounts should sign up here

now it is almost october... i dont want to sound rushing but wasnt the stress supposed to start by EARLY september? i mean otherwise how is it going to be tested by oct 5. Devs are you working on some thing new and fun that your not telling us?

if the latter is not the case i am just curious about what is going on and if i missed something while being inactive from the boards for like a week or two.

Maybe it slipped there minds. Well, I'm sure they'll read this post and be like: OMG we totally forgot about that game we've been working on since the `80's that's going to pay our mortgage. What was it called again? Vendetta! Yeah, Vendetta, we should work on that some more, maybe finish it up.

They're quite aware of the date, and yes the posted dates should probably be updated. This is always the danger when they try to be specific - circumstances change and there isn't always time to update the posts. Their heads are filled with code, storyline, 100 decisions, and trying to recall the names of their friends and family. They are SUPER busy just now, so some of the non-game related details are back-burnered for the moment. In the meantime, don't get too caught up in the date. Obviously there is a process that must be followed before release, and not all the steps have been completed.

my mistake, my mistake, i meant no implication that they forgot about their game or they are being lazy, i was simply curious about what was going on. If i came off too critical then i will remember to word it differently in the future, like i said, maybe i missed something or maybe i am just impacient(which is probably the case and probably misspelled). I am just exicited about its release and was asking if it was going to be postponed or it the release date was still in october and wondering about the what is happening to the game
