I'm glad the EnB players have an interest in Vendetta. They'll probably have a better grasp of what this game is about than other new players.

I don't want to interrupt this nice thread or cause any confusion, but I had an idea.

A) The guys on EBPortal (the discussion is kind of off-topic there) look for a place to talk to us until they either join the beta or buy the game
B) We guys in the Beta have our own message board (this one) but can't talk to the people that are not in yet.
C) People that don't buy the game right away (incl. beta testers) look for an independent forum.

If there is interest, I have started a forum page dedicated to Vendetta-Online.

Considering the more recent people I've seen on IRC, and in here as well, I personally prefer not talking to people that aren't in yet until they have been in, and have a solid grasp of how stuff works in vendetta.

VendettaWEB used to have stuff like that, but then they closed to release version 1. Then that never happened and it remained closed to make version 2. Now it's been quite a long time and the site's been closed so I doubt they're coming back. Anyhow, that's all highly OT.

The "In Progress" section is for the outside world. It will be updated when the devs want to make an annoucement.

Even though september may have arrived, the devs have a lot of work left to do before the game is ready to go gold. Including the much-anticipated guild support. While I don't doubt that they will open up accounts soon, I doubt that what is released at that time will have all the features of the final release.

Last night I was trying to gather information on personality resources in irc and told people to go to #vendetta-evntc to give their information (i would much rather they do it here: http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/8/5711) and someone who was not a tester saw the topic in the channel saw the section that said "Planned Beta Release: Sunday" and started blabbing about how the vendetta beta was being released on sunday.

Boy do I feel stupid for chewing him out now.
