well, I'm not sure about you others, but I've been exploring how the new standings system + trade levels affect avaiable equipment.

Of course, in doing so I've invalidated myself from ever exploring it with the next tweak set comes in, but its been interesting and I think I have a grasp of it right now *g*.

Also, as you might see from my fairly long ramble in Suggestions, I've been pushing about some ideas, some of them seem to coincide with a1k0ns post here above, others don't.

IIRC, the devs are getting some cheap fiber from someone they know. The hardware is pretty much a fixed cost, and electricity isn't *that* expensive.
