Lol, I play the game off and on and haven't played in a while since my HD crash, I just checked the site and seen all the new updates. So is there a guide for all these updates or what? :)

Check the news page, and ask around ingame, if someone is around near you, they should be willing to come and help.

um if you are starting to play the game again after a long time... um... it will be desolate... celkan i think you mean if he can FIND anyone they will be more than willing to help... in all the times i have signed on and went botting and just roamed around... i found a grand total of 2 people the whole time since this version came out

OK, what I meant was to use this method of finding people.

Step 1: Use /say_system to see if there's anyone in your current system. If there is, work out a meeting place. If not:
Step 2: Use Nation chat from a station to find a fellow Itani/NT/Serco. Once found, find a good meeting place. If impossible:
Step 3: Go to irc.slashnet.org #vendetta . There will *always* be people there who will help you. Including me, when I'm there.

Or Dsty2001 could just "/msg IRC active players" to find who's on. Then you can pm someone who's on the list and get them to help you out. That's the best way to find the people online.

You'd still need to find out where they were if you needed physical help with something.

Well, yeah, they'd need to come find you if you needed physical help, as in you suck and are being attacked by bots and keep dying.

I've figured out alot of stuff, the game world is so damn huge though! lol

yeah, it is really big, and a lot of stuff has changed since I left about half a year ago... Back then, you feared and stayed out of sight of pirates like Phoenix and Icarus... Nowdays, you would be happy to find a single non-bot ship, no matter how hostile they are.

A change for the better, if you are like me, and do not like to be bothered by a legion of trigger happy morons as soon as you log on.

Argh, I'm mad, I had well over 20,000 in cargo and got blown to peices by a bunch of bots camping the wormhole. What ever..........

In Odia I think, I went to that sector to see what the huge thing in the map was and ended up getting wacked.

Odia? I go there often and the bots aren't really camping, but they are within 300-500m. Well, that was awhile ago...

Coincidence?
