What is the game going to cost when it is finished? Will the beta tester get if free since we already have the software :D
No. The fact that we have access to the software doesn't make it free. The fact that they have access to our accounts does, which they've only temporarily allowed us to play for free until public testing is over. Without that account you can't log on, and therefore you can't play. Besides, the final game will probably feature a totally different client that is much larger than the beta download. So don't count on it.
what about some sort of system of free time? For example non paying players can get a certain amout of time per day with limited features and maybe have free access after a certain time.
I has the same question too..
I just wanted to estimate on how much vendetta will cost once it gets released.
Since common mmopgs hosted by big corperations often charge $50 for the game itself.

what makes you think you deserve it free? You're getting it for free right now.
Some mmorpg freaks like me do not have the money to spend on mmorpg's. Im only 15 yrs old and I need to save money for a car, an appt, ect. It would be great to find an mmorpg of this quality for free, even if I have a time limit.
Vendetta is planning to cost less than $10 a month. Longer subscriptions will be available at a discounted price. I highly doubt there will be a limited version that's free. A trial version where you could try the game out for free for a couple of weeks, and then pay to keep your account and continue playing if you like it, isn't out of the question though. I'm not crazy about pay to play games either, but I will say that Vendetta is planning to be a lot cheaper than most other MMORPGs.
Tiny. Get a job.
Nobody has a clue or a guess how much the game would cost(besides the subscription fee)?
Yeah, really, get a job. Why the heck do you need a car and apartment if you're only 15? I'm only 16, and I could easily afford the 10 bucks a month for Vendetta, just from the occasional freelance job I get. If you're plowing through that much money that you can't afford the $120 a year for Vendetta, you have issues other than the price of Vendetta.
No need to be rude pyro.
The Developers of Vendetta have endured considerable financial and personal hardship in producing the game as you see it now. They are in this to 1) produce their dream of a quality MMORPG as they invisioned, and 2) to make themselves financially successful in doing so.
They have indicated that they want to keep the subscription rate lower than other MMORPGs and that they want to produce 2 methods of delivering the client; CD and download.
They have not indicated final prices for either the subscription or the client. But, whatever they charge US (read EVERYONE...not only the public, but also testers), it will be too little, IMHO.

hm... i'm happy with pretty much any price below USD 15 if we're able to pay without credit card...
/me hopes it will be possible through PayPal
Tiny, Im 15 and also unemployed but even so, I make it by and will be able to pay for the game most likely.
Guys, go easy on tiny, the president has screwed over our economy causing adults to fallback into what used to be teenagers jobs. Thus bumping teenagers lower down and the younger teenagers are facing horrible unemployment, something like 60-75% here in the city.
As for paypal and non-credit cards, the Devs have said before that there would probably be some way of snail mailing in money to them but they aren't sure exactly yet. The game is first priority, logistics second

.. Pyro, i dont care where he lives, we always need more people to make big macs or sell gas.
The problem is, teenagers think they're better than those jobs and dont want to take them. Soon i wont be able to get cheesburgers. :(
Anyway, $5-$10 sounds reasonable, and i dont see why kids couldn't bug their parents to let em use their credit cards. Isn't that what kids do these days? Bum a card then pay their parents back?

Pyroman, at 15 I dont think you really have a clue about how the government really works.
The president didnt "screw over our economy" as you put it. No one person can do that. Economic changes tend to cycle on a 10 year pattern. Right now we have been in the bottom of the last "down" and are entering the next "up".
Also as far as the job market goes, There is no chance whatsoever for the USA to provide blue collar factory jobs and remain competitive in the world market. when labor in china is willing to do a job for $0.50 an hour that a company would be forced to pay $20-$25 in the US, that job WILL move overseas. The US has more skilled labor, but it doesnt take a lot of skill to operate a rubber molding press. The higher skill jobs (circut board etching, etc) are so automated that you need fewer people to turn out a finished product so those jobs are scarcer. The only job field that is growing is retail, since everyone wants to buy things. This is a pattern that is inherent in ANY high quality of life country. Even on electronics you hardly ever see made in japan or made in taiwan anymore. they are all stamped "made in china" because the labor cost there is so low.
While Bush isnt exactly the best thing since sliced bread, Blaming him for the economy is a little far out. Clinton didnt do any better for the economy or foriegn plicy. he just distracted everyone from that by diddling interns under his desk.
Anyway having wandered way off topic, I should point out that $10-$15 dollars isn't an overwhelming amount of money and a very reasonable cost for a MMORPG.

The fact that he's spending billions on Iraq and artificially deflating gas prices doesn't help either, though...
Spellcast made all my points for me. gj.
