The new universe seems to me more like a grid of infinite Duel sectors. I haven't explored much, but i haven't found any central sector such as 9 in the older versions. I was just wondering what future plans hold for general play.
Will there be central and remote sectors eventually? Do you think they are necessary? Just some of the questions I have at the moment.

Eventually most sectors will be guarded by a faction, so there will be less "empty" sectors.

As for central systems, good idea, but no clue.

Right now, it seems that the only "central sectors" are the national homebases and even those are fairly empty.

As for current plans, I haven't heard anything but some people have suggested that a Tester Faction be created and have the old s9 transported into the center of the new universe as a tester hangout for post-release and also as a natural congregation point so we aren't just all alone without human contact for hours on end.
