Ask questions about warp jumping here.
"I can't jump. The Jump sequence aborts after 1 second, so I'm stuck in the sector."
You have to bind n to nav and then you can use the navigation menu. To do this either:
1) type /bind n nav in the console
2) go to Options->Controls and press Defaults located in the lower right corner of the menu. This will delete all of your userdefined keyboard/mouse comfigurations though.
[Forum Mod: For some reason F2 also gets me to the nav screen]
You must be 3000m away from the largest object in order to warp. The proximity readout on the bottom of your screen will turn green and indicate that you are 3000 away from large objects.
You can only jump while in physics mode. Hit '
Hit n, select your destination within your sector (a wormhole or station, for instance) by clicking it, and then click the "plot course" button to the right.
Vitriol reports: "I was able to jump in arcade mode, but I had to be very, very careful not to move the mouse. Even then 75% of the time the jump would abort. Very frustrating."

Another words, you can jump in arcade, or even @ 200 ms. (It doesn't need a full battery *hint* *hint*)

Yay! :D
Yay! :D
The reason it doesn't need a full battery is because those jumps are within the system. The ones that move you from system to system require a full battery however. I still feel that heavy battery configurations should not be required to wait until full capacity if a light battery configuration can make it through quicker with less capacity. It just doesn't make any sense. There should be an absolute energy requirement rather than whatever battery you happen to have. That's about the only gripe I have with this.

to go to other sector in a system use your "nav"'s "system zoom" to plot a course by clicking on a sector -square that will turn yellow-.
Green square shows in what sector you are.
Then move up to 3000m from any large object.
Hit plot course in your "nav"
and You're there! no battery energy used! no speed limitation!
To go to other systems, plot a course to a worm-hole sector, represented in your system map by a blue wirhpool.
Get to the worm-hole and press your activate key (enter) when you have full battery energy.
and you're in flight for that system!
I swich this helped.

is another player a large object too?
if not, you can easly warp and no one will find you, because you can be anywhere....
