Incarnate specifically said it'll be less than $10 a month. How much less? Nobody knows right now.

If anything, you should be paying them already. Blah, there are always people like this just before a game goes P2P... They need to be dragged outside and quickly silenced... -.-

Well I dunno about you losers, but I'm definately deserving of a free account, without me, this game would be nothin'.

Now us players who have been playing for about 1.8 years we don't want anything...or at least I don't, so what makes YOU think you deserve something for your hard work testing the game for a week with free access to the server almost 24/7?
If the devs want to reward the testers, so be it, but it's not your place to demand something from them.

You are getting something, you are getting free access to the game and get to play it before it even goes out, if anything, you should be paying them for testing.

You are getting something, you are getting free access to the game and get to play it before it even goes out, if anything, you should be paying them for testing.
It would be nice to have some brief form of recognition, a nice holo - sign with the names of the beta testers scrolling round it in S9, or whatever the next 'central' hang out sector will be.
But as for free, your playing for free now. Dont knock it. Its more than many other people will ever get to do!

I would be perfectly happy with my name on the end of the credits scroll if they ever get around to making one. even tho noone ever watches them, that would be sufficient for me.

On the subject of free accounts. Only a true freeloader would ask that question. Come on! You're lucky you get to enjoy it breifly without having to P2P!
The Devs have asked us to Test, good people realize that we're helping to develope a great game with some truely great Developers and stay because we beleive in the project.
Also, as Phoenix said, those of us that have been here for months, or in some cases years (my anniversary is June somethin) realize that we've gotten the opportunity to test a game, something that no one else will ever get to test. There will never be another Vendetta Test by Guildsoftware. We've gotten to do something truley unique and work with not only great Devs who listen to our ideas and talk to us and PLAY with us, but we've also gotten to meet some of the greatest people you can find like Linda, and Spellcast, and most noteably, StarFreeze, people you probably wouldn't have met otherwise.
So, if the devs decide they want to do something (I like the idea of an Online Launch Party, all weapons and ships free, a massive slagfest) then that is their choice. Nobody, not even the Veteran Testers have any right to demand anything for their efforts.
