Its the second time that i have unistall vendetta because when i'm trying to play it doesn't work i'm able get out of the station but after that the ship doesn't move and i can't send any messages so i have to unistall the game and install again what can i do to stop that??????????????????

Did you go through the 'set-up' process to assign keys/mouse/joystick to movement?

yoann10. I'm a touch confused, so please bear with me here.

have you ever been able to control your ship once you left the station? is it a case of "my ship was working then I undocked and it wouldn't" or have you never been able to pilot your ship outside the station.

I'll assume the latter for now, but if it's the former please let us know.

A few questions for you.
1 do you have a mouse pointer in the station menu?
2 can you chat in the station using the ~ key to bring up the console window? (the one to the left of the #1 on american style keyboards)
3 after you leave the station, can you bring up your options menu's with the esc key? if so do you have a mouse pointer?

firstable i can't chat in the station but i can buy or sell and comming out of the station but then i can't do anything.i can't move my ship at all neither shoot and neither chat.Now i have a pointer when i am in the station until i coming out when i come out there is no mouse pointer.

i did everything you just right but still not working

ok yoann, try this when you leave the station, press ";" and see if your mouse pointer returns. alternatively,on the main vendetta screen, (before you enter your username and password, but after you run the updater) click on options and make sure you are in keyboard/mouse mode. It sounds to me like you have activated keyboard/joystick.

As for chatting in the station, you have to activate the console by pressing ~

You also should deactivate "dead keys" (probably activated if your language need stuff like ñ, ê, ü, etc) before you run Vendetta, atleast it made more keys work here (I'm using Linux however).

i have this problem and no you do not have to uninstall and reinstall everytime, all that is needed is to go to at the start menu which as the play, option etc. go to options; then controls; then press set defaults, after that you can change anything you want and it will work. i do not know why this happens however this is the way to fix it...(it worked for me)
