1: What do the Power Gloves do?...allow you to see the Transport II's and III's...anything else? Just checking.

2: The "bonus" you recieve from killing 5 bots. After I've killed five i get the 250/300/300 bonus (that might be wrong, it's from memory). After getting that a few times in a row I'm wondering: does this bonus ever go up? Like, after you kill 100 bots does it become 500/750/750 or something?

You can buy all ships in 18, but you still have to have the right liscenses. If you take one of your nations specials and 100k they will give you a different one from another nation.

The bonus do not go up. Though when you get to a higher lvl they do. I suggest doing group missions, as the rewards can be higher if you group with the right ppl.

17/18 are hidden and secret, they would not be if I told you where they were:P I am sure somebody else will though.

Not sure what a Power Glove is. There are waste treatment arrays that look like little gloves in the cargo hold, but as for power gloves I have never seen them.

yeah...i've made it to 17 before, just forgot how, and never found 18. but ok, thanks for the help.

You get to 17 from 11, and 18 from 17. I think if you spawn from the sector 11 station (heading away from the sun) and continue going straight you'll find the 17 gateway. The gate to 18 can be found by lining up the two small hollowed out asteroids in 17 and flying past the gate to 11 along that line.

so I followed Jolly into s18 one day, homed and happily botted with him.
when he left, it took me +100 bots to finally hit the s17 warphole by accident... :D

I was shown the way into 17 way back when the bots populating s17/18 were known as "Wingbots". Why? Because they flew in an attack "wing" of 3 bots. If you killed the leader, the other 2 would usually turn tail. Anyway, I found my own way into s18 and had to find my own way out. Took a few deaths to figure it out. Think I finally turned around as I reentered and just tried to remember what it looked like.

Uhh, the easier way (perhaps a1 said this) to find s17 is to emerge from s13 and then pull down and port (left) slightly, there should be a lone roid separated off the main clusters.

Get beneath this roid, line up the station icon in your rear radar and then boost away from the roid and station keeping the "s" in the center of your rear scope.

Boost until you see the message "Press Activate to enter sector 17" in the chat menu, remember to check there because there is no other warning.
