Just wondering, when this game is final, will everything be reset, or do we keep our characters? As much as I'd like to keep everything worked on, wouldn't that be drastically unfair to those just starting the final game?

Characters would probably be held, but not the score/money/ships

webman since we just had all our characters reset for an update, and have had several total resets in the past, i figure we've got at least 2 more resets during the test, and then the game will go live sometime over the summer.(hopefully) It would be nice of the devs to allow those of us who have playtested for them a small perk in the final game, (maybe a small level bonus on starting characters in the final game?) However i'm not worried about it. I'm happy to get to play the game for free as it is now, and any extra perks the devs give us will be appreciated.

I am too Spellcast, I'm just imagining a new player warping in for the first time in his shiny new shuttle, only to find 20 huge battleships looking for a good time :)

I think monthes of free Vendetta is perk enough. Since the combat system is mostly based on player skill and not character skill, we already have a huge advantage - we know how to fly. We know weapon/energy combos. When it comes to combat, us testers will have a very noticeable advantage over everyone else for at least a few weeks after release.. I don't think we need any more of a gift from Guild than that.
