the change...
well as i have well shown on this board i am all for change and well welcome in mostly but with the reset i have come to see that people that play this game alot rather than a little bit have not just a advantage but a HUGE advatange i have spent about 2 non consecutive hours just botting and well i still have failed to accomplish a 1000 points in combat yet... i just think that well the bots should be worth a little more than 2/5/5 and 10/20/20 for higher bots which take a hell of a long time to ware down with higher classmen like sf1 and phoe well wreak havok upon you when all you are trying to do is well get enough skill points to get a licence i really think that the minimum skill point system should be removed from the licence but only money should be a requirment. but more skill point the higher that missions that you can complete and this will still limit the ship, weapon, batery, and engine that you can get within a certain skill level but not by a licence level.
btw i still do not completely understand this whole new system so a FAQ would greatly be appreciated thanks and i dont hope that you guys just think i am a pain but i really think that this game should give higher rewards to avid players but a reward that is a little bit well easier but still challenging for the recreationonal player.

defy take the basic combat training mission, you get bonuses for each 5 consecutive bots you kill. the mobuses add up the more bots in a row you have killed.
Combat-oriented tour
------------------
1) Buy an EC-88. This is your bus. There are many like it, but this one is yours (gestures theatrically at an EC-88 Adventure "Sport" model, the one with the rollbar and KC fog lights.)
2) Dock at the station that's adjacent to your home sector. Be sure to set it as your home station.
If you are Itani, then you're in 1, go to 4.
If you are Serco, you're in 2, go to 12.
If you are Neutral, you're in the wrong tour. Go stand in line for the commerce tour. If you're Neutral and don't want to stand in line for the commerce tour, you're in the wrong nation. Go make a Serco character. Or Itani, but I'd prefer that it be Serco.
3) Pick up the Basic Combat Training mission in the Missions panel of the station interface. To do this, select the combat mission, click "info", then "accept".
4) Go shoot Drone I-level bots in your EC-88 until you have 2000 combat XP (Experience Points). You get 20 XP per bot, usually, but only if you're doing the mission do you get the bonuses every five bots that really move you along. After a while, the mission computer will tell you that you can't get any more points from killing Drone Is. Fine, kill Drone IIs. To check how many combat XP you have, press K, and scroll down in the top text field until you see experience ratings.
5) Once you have 2000 Combat XP, you can go get the license test mission. This isn't a mission so much as an excuse for the game to flip one switch or another in your character's file. You don't have to do anything to get the license, just accept the mission, leave the station and come back again. Before you ask, I'm not going to get into the console thingy right now. It's confusing.
6) Now you can get a Centurion. Go you. Now get out there and kill more stuff.
More stuff dead=more combat XP=more stuff to buy. Careful what you kill, though, because killing enemy players lowers your reputation with their nation. Just don't pick fights until you know what you're doing better.
7) On to the commerce tour!
Commerce Tour
--------------
1) You have an EC-88. It's your personal dump-truck, winnebago and government convoy all in one. It moves as fast as these things, as well.
2) Go get a trading mission. It'll tell you to take something somewhere. Do it. Get points, level up trading skills. Get better stuff. Oh, and don't stress about time limits on trading missions. They're utterly ludicrous. If you make them, cool. Otherwise, don't stress.

actually only think i was getting 2 exp points per bot. not 20. big difference. as it set up now does take a long time to gain liscences for better stuff
You get 2 per bot, but then every five bots you get something like 100 or 500. Once you reach combat level 4, however, it will take forever to advance since the adv combat mission is still broken.
