Worth Coming back?
Okay. I swore off vendetta til it was worth coming back. So I want some vets' opinions, like Arc, SirCamps, etc. to tell me if it's worth it or not now. Should I come back?

Not a vet, persay, but I would say give it two more days, till they fix the advanced combat mission. Once you can progress again I would say it's definately worth coming back.
Yeah, like StarFisher said, wait until the most nasty bugs are fixed (for there are a few), then come back and give it a shot. It's awesome - it's.. like a new Vendetta, I daresay.
Although a1's been promising really big changes in a month or two...
Yup, wait till the bugs get worked out.
Jason, there was a bug that let you stay with the basic combat mission indefinitely, and long as you didn't abort it, you could gain an insane amount of skill points (for licenses, where licenses = better weapon, ship, equipment). People like Starfreeze, Uncledave, Arolte, Evhun, and Eldrad are to be feared. Jackhammer Hog in hvy/hvy against a Centurion with phased blasters/light/light is a bad fight.
Other than that, the bots are very cool. Wraiths with flechettes, Ragnaroks with dual AGCs, Vultures with dual tachs. Come on in, 70% of the players are in buses, so you won't be at a disadvantage. 15% are in Centurions, 10% in Wraiths, and a couple in hogs and Vultures (and I think I heard Eldrad had a Hornet). The cargo missions are fun, ferrying cargo between corporations in under a ridiculously low timeframe. You also can raise or lower your standing with different corporations in different sectors (TGP, Orion Robotics, unaligned sectors, NT, Serco, Itani) by completing cargo missions or killing the appropriate player (Serco if Itani, and vice versa).
Some misc other changes:
Flag capping is gone, finally.
Score is now purely based on PKs and killing bots that have killed other players.
NT can travel and dock anywhere, including Itani and Serco space.
Itani and Serco can dock in NT space.
As of yet there have been no specials or sunflares spotted! :D

It's worth coming back if your intent is to join the Vendetta community in playtesting.
Well, average active players has been hovering around 50, so if you are going to come back now is the time. More people = more activity = (usually) more fun.
Well, I've been gone for a long time (pretty much since 3.2.0, although I dropped in once in a while), and this update actually gives a lot to the gameplay, since there is stuff that isn't toatlly pointless. So I might be coming back. Then again, I might get bored with this quickly and leave again. If the devs take out the time out of their schedule to add some interesting new stuff once in a while (awards, player-run factions, new ship upgrade possibilities, etc. - the potential is amazing), then I'll definately stick around. Plus, I'm leaving to Turkey for 10 days tommorow and when I'm back, the bugs should be less apalling so yay.

Heh. Their entire schedule revolves around adding interesting new stuff at this point...

Hitania, the new universe may even be out by then :)
Look forward to you coming back.

Er, I think the point isn't to entice you with features just yet. The point is that if you come you are agreeing to help bug test and are willing to tolerate the inherent roughness of a game still in production.
