The end of the universe as we know it has come. It will end in a great infero brought to us by huge amounts of our enemies' destroyed ships and our flares exploding on anything daring to step in our way.
A new time is about to begin, and we will do everything to let the old time end with a crushing defeat of the itani and serco to the honor and glory of our great nation which is well known as the NT.
This great battle shall take place in S13 since it will be an excellent battlefield for the last act of war in this galaxy.

Of course I will take part in this battle and fight for our glorious nation if real life, mean and unpredictably as it is, permits it.

Um, amq, they said they're just laying the new features on top of the 18-sector universe--not creating a new one.

sall good. I still have to explore the secret sectors myself first (I can be lead there, but can't get to those places on my own)

s13 sounds good, but it looks like more people are in favor of s9. I could go either way, but I'd prefer s9.

sorry for the confusion, of course SirCamps is right and the universe stays (at least for some time) as it is, that's at least what i understood.
My "universe" refered more to the new features and maybe new gameplay that will come and, to admit it, it just sounded cool ;D "The end of the universe as we know it" w00t..
Oh .. and if anyone is low on money for this last few days in 3.3 or the last battle, feel free to tell me and I will look if I can help ... :)

/me says the war starts at 12AM Sunday, and ends 11:59PM (or whenever the devs decide to finally restart the server)Sunday.

better yet, it should last until every player in vendetta is poorer than Hussein himself!

I say that at the start of the war, every player is required to fight for one death in quad flechette hornet. The noise.. is just so damn cool!

Regarding the rumor in this thread about new sectors in a month: In Progress does NOT promise that. Note that it stipulates the same 18 sector universe and mentions THE "secret" sectors - not new ones. I just don't want people to be disappointed or fooled.


From In Progress:

"The biggest thing still missing from the new version will be the new Universe and Navigation system, which is not planned to debut for at least another month. Thus, we will be dropping in these new gameplay features on top of the existing 18-sector universe. This will bring about some changes.. we're going to set up different factions in some of the outlying "secret" sectors and the like."

I decline HyperSpaz's request. The battle ground and time are set, nothing can be changed. The decision is final. Sorry.
