It would be really nice if you could tell how to get to secret sectors. It bugs me to death when I forget one.
Also... uh... how does one get from 16 to 15 again? :)

The path from one sector to another is an issue for another day, and I'm fundamentally opposed to putting spoilers in my worldbook. If it's a secret, you can be damn sure it isn't going to be in the dictionary.
Okay: Quick poll.
Embedding the font boosts filesize on ships from 12k to 35k apiece. Is it worth it?

"Magus: Sure, but as I stated earlier, I haven't sunk myself into Itani and Neutral culture the way I have with the Serco. I simply don't know enough. Who do they worship? What is their history? Why should they be proud to be Neutral/Itani?"
-I have midterms now. But next weekend I can give you a breakdown of why we Neuts are proud of our heritages.

Cool. Can someone get started on the Itani?
New list, minus fiXx0red items:
1. Use official storyline (Arolte & Roguelazer)
2. Remember ship colours (Roguelazer)
3. Add sectors 0, 40-46 (Roguelazer)
4. Un-Serconify the ship descriptions for old red ships (Celkan)
5. OMG WTF WARES TEH FACTIONS? (Celkan)

Sectors
In the Xithricite Mine II description it says "in an out," it should read "in and out."
Need close quotes on Sercon II description.
Nagivational Nexus H25 says "gravitic," but that's not a word. Try "gravitational."
Errr..... your page just went offline as I was viewing it....

heh, yeah, I was moving it around. New list is:

2. Remember ship colours (Roguelazer)
3. Add sectors 0, 40-46 (Roguelazer)
4. Un-Serconify the ship descriptions for old red ships (Celkan)
5. Fix Xithricite Mine II Description<--FixXored. Smoothed out the flow of the text.
6. Close Quotes on Sercon II Description<--FixXored. Shuffled the verse a bit, too.
7. Fix terminology on Navigational Nexus H25 Description<--FixXored.

You need to close the parentheses in the name of sector 5.
Oops. That's there, but it's too wide for the allotted text field. I'll trim it a bit.
Edit: Done.

Added a mostly nonfunctional Factions section. Right now all that's there is a concept piece for the Neuts. Eventually I want the factions section to represent a sort of personal space for every faction (but not clan) in Vendetta. Descriptions, flavor pieces, etc.
And hitchbolt greasers.
BTW, it isn't very hard to preserve the color selected by the user. Make an actionscript variable called _global.shipcolor and then just set that appropriately, and then when the user clicks on a ship, load the movie with actionscript using that variable.

Awesome, awesome, awesome piece of work, ctishman! I just got finished exploring the whole site. It was good in its first incarnation, its wayyyy better now. I had to laugh out loud at the "pizza cutter" insignia for the maud.
This is really up to you if you want to include it but;
I did some experimentation on the maneuverability of each ship, including forward acceleration and turn rate. The results were confirmed by an independant experiment done by eldrad.
Point is, if you're interested, I could give you some actual numbers to include under ship maneuverability rather than just "low" "medium" "high" and "very high."

Do all this and the reset comes, ehehe.:P

So THAT'S what the hell that thing was!

a1k0n: and KNITTING hitchbolt greasers. I'll work on that color thingie tonight.
Phaserlight: Hell yes! ctishman at mac dot com !
Pirogoeth: I can't wait. More cool stuff to enter!
Celkan: Heh, yes, it was a pizza cutter, because I couldn't think of anything else. If someone has a better idea, I'll put that in.

All the normal ships are their original nation colours. That's cool for me. But, um, the Centaur was gold, not blue. Just a heads up! Furthermore, the EC-88 was originally red's heavy. Since red's heavy at 3.1 is now in the special category, make the EC-88 start red.
My fixes numbered:
8. Make centaur starting colour gold.
9. Make EC-88 starting colour red or green (preferably green)

I'm sticking with company identity, rather than how they looked pre-3.2. Since GSC made the EC-88 and the Centaur is an Itani nation ore hauler, I'm keeping 'em blue.
That Union News bulletin is great.
Heh, thanks :D
wow... ku the site looks great...
leaps and bounds of what you had before... all though i enjoyed the old one page with the three ships... your Maud image (the way of the trader) is what made me choose NT...
keep up the good work!!!!!!
