named after the expance of land on earth that once connected Alasaka and Russia, in the same way sector0 has connected humans from earth to the current (in-game) universe.

so the tales goes... humans discover (what is now known as wormholes) to a strange space ... but there is no way back to earth and only one way to the known vendetta universe. where 3 nations part and yadda yadda yadda...

This was my original list of planet/station/sector names. I think my sector 0 name is much better.
