He's not obligated to tell us anything, RelayeR.
/me slaps RelayeR
Change that tone, boy! Remember, we are but mere peons.

Basically.......
First the bots all disappeared (every NPC, including deffies).
Then a1k0n came on, and the repair tab for special ships disappeared in all sectors (except 18). Then the bots went into disguise. There were red defbots in 11 and 8.

after that, the "moron bots" with Valkryies appeared in s4. A real pain, considering I had a bus at the time. :|
Wow, I had a lot of fun. Everybody was capping, and I foiled two cap attempts on Itani! Yay! Plus, I got randomly teleported to s0, and now I have a lot of perty pitchers.

lol...the gods at play!
overall when the bots went down the feeling was quite high among all players. Capping teams quickly formed, and for once defenders were all in sight. It was mighty battles that raged, and several attempts against the Serco flag were thwarted.
We took out the griefers who held 13, and chased them through the universe and back into s1 where we had to give up our ships at the hands of the brave itani defenders.
Overall, it was darn fun to fly in a squad again, and meet some interesting defense that wasn't just bots to space and run from.

heavens that was fun!
I am beginning to think that regular server errors might not be too bad :P. today was one of the first times I saw good coordination and teamwork among all of the players in vendetta (even the griefers were working together lol)

That's actually quite true.

/me grabs the devs hands and points at the server "it's doing it again!"
yeah. server crashed, and left us all unable to relogon. probably a good thing as it bores me enough to wait that I'll go to sleep. Who knows, I might even get to work in time tomorrow
I cant connect : \. tried like 30 times
This cannot be happening to me!!!
/me needs to do his Homework, lalalalala

ah. I think vendetta has made me much more productive; whenever the server is down, I am bored enough to think "I'll do the laundry and come back", "I'll finish those papers", "I'll go to sleep/eat"...
Yah, it's gone again.
Just as well too, too much anger.

!??#$!! It was deadlocked, trying to do a mutex_lock. And yet it isn't threaded! Something went wrong with glibc, which is very, very irritating.
Do you use linuxthreads or nptl?
IT IS NOT THREADED. glibc is whatever glibc gentoo ships with.
gentoo has both. :P Even if it's not threaded, I believe the nptl patches do other stuff too to the glibc.
Hmm, but I was doing more work than I should have been doing inside a signal handler... very interesting; this might be fixed now, or whenever I get around to restarting the server.
