Vendetta Ice - Help/Bounty System
Ooo oo more addons... :)
The help system was redone, it basicly starts off like the old one with "help" but then instead of asking for ice or bank commands it displays all commands. Then you can get more info on a command by going "help command" like "help mail"...
Anyhow next...the bounty system
To post a bounty:
/msg "Vendetta Ice" bounty name
/givemoney "Vendetta Ice" amount
To cancel a bounty:
/msg "Vendetta Ice" cbounty name
To get bounty information on a person:
/msg "Vendetta Ice" bountyinfo name
When you kill someone in sector 9, a message will be globally displayed about your kill and you will be sent the money. If you are not in the sector at the time Vendetta Ice tries to give you money, it will go to your "given" account.
The bot will only globally speak on the kill, it will not say your current bounty if you just logged on and have talked for the first moment. It will not speak on a posting. When you put money in a bounty 100% of the money given goes to the bounty.
In the future the website will allow you to edit your bounties, post, and see the list of people who have bounties on them.

YOU GOT SERVED!
me likes vendetta ice even more now
you wouldn't actually need several lines, just several vendetta installations, several accounts, a pretty powerful machine and lots of time on your hands to keep it all running
BountyBot doesn't mind the competition. For various and ancient reasons, BB doesn't completely trust StarFreeze, but thinks everyone should form their own opinions. I do think SF's system is very technically impressive.
Competition between the bots keeps them honest and innovative.

*cough*
So long as VI doesn't start holding a lottery....

Why not move Vendetta Ice to sector 7? The sector 7 market is an untapped resource!
if the bots shoudl be moved i'd suggest going to s11. reason: more than half of the vendetta userbase passes through there, getting a valk, prom, maud or plain cargo/botting. bigger chance to catch a guy with a bounty on his head, statistically speaking.
We need a bountybot system. I want bots in every sector from 1-18 and 40-45. And they should talk to each other. And send the bounites to wherever the kill is made.
Make it so #1.
/me sets up an ICE account.

Problem is, whoever runs them would need a separate line for each bountybot, and the bountybots wouldn't be able to transfer money between themselves.
Heh, it's clear Rom has given some thought to this. I'll chime in with the one thing he didn't mention... the Bot Network would need errand bots to ship cash between the sectors.
Since both Rom and I have autopilot bots (very clumsy though), this could be done... It'd be more interesting in-game if other players could steal their cash-cargo, al-la an armored car... but as it is, they'd just die and have to try to make the trip again.
