agree there, a1k0n. (friends of friends and so on .. ) But its not generally what I listen to when playing. for some reason. Which I guess is rather strange as I do listen to underworld
Quick list: Frank Zappa, Yes, Victor Wooten, Primus, and any Celtic music. Celtic music is my favorite music for Vendetta, probably. Bagpipes + shooting people with lasers=good times.
/me wonders when Apple will stop fellating the RIAA (I'm sure you all appreciate the mental image) and add .ogg support to iTunes.
Does anybody know of a plugin or something? Or a .ogg player would be nice too. But an iTunes plugin would be best.

Durgia: I thank you for the guide, however, about 360 of 400 songs of mine are mp3 format...and I don't really feel like running an mp3->ogg converter for all of those files. Like I said, if I die, I'll get over it becaues it's just a game...

I also have a huge iTunes playlist full of stuff like, Linkin Park, Led Zepplin, some Swedish classical and rock, a lot of techno and trance stuff, and of course, my favorite for dueling and all around death bringing, Ride of the Valkeries by Wagner. Like Apocalypse Now but in space! ^_^
Looks like you and I are the odd ones out Tosh.
I play Descent 3 alot and being able to hear someone turboing up behind me has saved me more times than I care to count. It's helped in Vendetta to a lesser degree but I still am a dreadful pilot. Too many years of playing the Descent series has ingrained some flying habits that don't work in Vendetta.

I don't have the music on so loud that I can't hear what's going on.
If Guild would hurry up and edit the energy wepon sounds I would be able to play with the sound effects volume a bit higher so I could hear the turbo.

Hello? Mrs. a1k0n?
Hello? Mrs. a1k0n?
How would you pronounce that, anyway? "Ahl kohn", "ay won kay zero enn", ?
When Gold was capping I used to like to listen to stuff like Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" and "O Fortuna" . . . or Holst's "Mars, the God of War," which some of you know as "The EV Nova Music".

I listen to the default you insensitive clod!
Hmm... I wonder if the music can change while you transit into combat, like in Freelancer. That would be pretty cool.
Glenn Gould playing Bach, he's the best.
Ohhh! I wanna see what the other devs listen to also. Especially Waylon.
Me? Most modern rock. Metallica. Rage Against the Machine. System of a Down. Parsec Soundtrack. Nine Inch Nails. Smashing Pumpkins. Some weird music I downloaded off the internet. Pretty much anything along those lines. Music I don't enjoy include Classical, Rap, Hip Hop, Country, Polka, Old Rock, Old Metal, ... and I think that's it.

I just discovered a new band with good music for Vendetta! The Danny Warhols, guys, the Danny Warhols.
Grunadulator: I think that would present a lot of new problems, i.e. they would have to add code so that EVERY time a shot is fired, its path is traced, and checked to see if it hits an enemy ship, or not. Or at least that's the way my programming mind is thinking of it. Could be a more obvious solution that I'm not thinking of...
