Why doesnt anyone see this! Some of the noobs on everybodys teams (not meantioning any names!) act like complete idiots! They go up to traders or vets and try to blow them up in busses, valks, etc. But usally it nevah works! I really don't see the point of it all but someone plz help me with a solution for this issue!

There is no "solution" to this problem.

If it never works, and you're kicking n00b valk ass, they'll go poor some time, so there's a solution.

As Archon said there is no 'solution' to this problem, nor is there a solution to the problem of vets blowing up n00bs or players with hardly and score in busses and atlases ( should that be atlai ? )

The other day i witnessed one of the top 10 players kill a total n00b in a bus just because he could. Im not going to name names but the n00b was simply passing through the sector and was killed for his trouble.

I did however see that the n00b changed his nation so the vet 'offender' could not kill him again. Quite a clever ploy but not quite the ideal situation.
I have been fired upon by total newbies but 'killing' them is not the answer, educating them IS. If you simply destroy them for being 'a naughty newb' then they may either hate you for ever and greif you ad infinitum or just give up say 'F*** it' and never play again thus depleting the user base.
I've lost count of the newbs of all nations, i have helped, shown, and given money too but its something that many players dont do. Some still play, some dont but i like to think that i have helped make the user base a little bit wiser and bigger.

Now, are you saying that the n00b was in a bus when killed by the Vet, or the Vet was in a bus when they killed the n00b? It's a bit vauge on that point. Could be taken either way. ^.^

Jeez, just learn to defend yourself! If you don't like it just play another game...who is forcing you to play vendetta? Accept the fact that it's anarchy out there and it's every ship for themselves. If you don't want to deal with other players stay in your home sector and bot. Stop wasting our time complaining about what other people do, please. I think it's great how Vendetta gives you the freedom to do whatever you want (except say naughty things over chat).

technocrat, that's the wrong attitude. Vendetta is morphing into a RPG now. It's not an FPS any more, and if we keep treating it like one IT'LL NEVER BECOME A RPG.

That's exactly what's happening, Urza. It doesn't matter anyway, because until we have more systems and government non pirate players, no one'll be safe anywhere cept their home sector.

I've seen players change from merciless griefer to helpful tutor, overnight. There are ways to change it now to make it better, and less of a transition, later.

To all merciless killers...the time is coming when you must rely on your good name to make advancements...change your behaviour now lest others remember you later.
