LaMas, you might have been better off with a title like "Could I be unmuted please?"

It wouldnt kill you to be polite.

if ppl are supposed to be muted for 6 weeks or more, guild won`t sell a thing....

It may have just been an oversight, you know.

Considering how hard it is to get muted, I doubt many people will be scared off by the possibility of being muted for an extended period of time.

And overall, treating people nicely tends to get you further in life than making angry demands...

Mean = guns

What happenned was this.

Sherpa left his burrow and saw his shadow. So, 6 more weeks of muting.

You realize, of course, that asking in this manner will mostly likely just give a reason to the devs just to simply ignore you, and say well, one more reason to keep him muted. Plus, it most likely WAS just a simple error. Maybe you should delete your post, and post another request politely?

Maso, you were always one to run your mouth. You have no right to demand "UNMUTE ME NOW!" We play this game because the devs are extremely gracious and nice enough to allow an open beta. They could just keep the server up for 24 hours after each update, then close it down again. If you were muted, it was for a good reason. Considering how hard it is to get muted, staying muted for a while to cool off is a good thing. If you're still in the "gimme" mode after 6 weeks, then that time was not long enough.

I generally warn people before muting them if I haven't had to warn them before. Habitual verbal abusers are often muted first and then contacted via private message to discuss it. Users who are verbally abusive to me as well are written down for future unmuting after a little discussion with me about their willingness to follow the rules in the future. If I don't see that user on, I can't very well contact them as I don't have access to the account info. There is no built-in time limit for muting, by the way. I was a little tougher a few weeks ago and noted a change for the positive: I haven't had to mute anyone in weeks.
