Cross-posting the last couple of updates from News..
VO 1.8.768 includes:
- Added a bindable command to enable 'Selective Tractor Beam' mode which allows using the tractor beam to retrieve the selected nearby crate instead of all of the nearby crates. The command to toggle the feature is /cargotractorselective and can take an optional 1 or 0 to turn it on or off explicitly. It is also listed as 'Toggle Selective Tractor (targeted crate only)' in the Options -> Advanced -> Controls -> Keyboard settings menu.
Another improvement sourced from player request on the Suggestions Forum.
Other "long-horizon" development is on-going. Bigger projects take time, but things are moving forward. More substantive announcements likely in the coming month.

- The 'Use Touch Throttle as Strafe Up/Down' touch-mode setting now replaces the Up/Dn HUD controls with Acel/Decel controls instead of removing them.
Another improvement that came from a player-created Suggestions Forum thread.
We're a bit sparse on updates lately, and quiet, because we're working on longer-horizon projects that take some time to reach stability. Hopefully we'll have more updates on some of these changes in the near future. We are generally still working on the "Game Development Direction" we sketched out on the sticky thread on Suggestions.
