VO 1.8.766 includes:
- Added "Free Look" bindable commands to use the mouse to look around without affecting your ship orientation. "FreeLookToggle" toggles free look mode on and off, "+FreeLook" is a hold-to-activate version. A snap-back time setting is in Options -> Advanced -> Game and is in milliseconds, defaulting to 150 ms. During this time, the mouse does not affect the ship. Setting the value to 0 results in instant snap-back.
- Added a 'mixed' 2D Square/3D Box mode to the selected target on the HUD. Non-selected ships will have the 2D Square as set in the Interface -> HUD options, and if the 3D Box mode is selected, the selected target will have a 3D box around it. (iOS will require an app update.)
- Added a "Decline" button to the Buddy menu.
- Fixed TU Mine prices in capships to 200k.
- Fixed rare crash in shadow primitive sorting code.
- Fixed issue with guilds being started before a server restart and finalized after the restart were not having their long names saved properly.

Cool! I actually had not tried the new 2D mode thingy-ma-bob as I'm too used to the 3D box and always turn that option on before I start on a fresh install, so had honestly never noticed all the information and far target highlighting that option offers! Having this in my preferred 3D box mode is ace and I would have never noticed it had this suggestion not been implemented. So yeah, cheers for the suggestion Hawkfeather, and thank you devs for implementing it!
