Windowed Fullscreen mode
is Windowed Fullscreen mode supported? I get about a second of lag when alt-tabbing while in full screen mode, but in windowed mode it's almost instant; the only thing is the windows title bar shows up at the top of the screen and I want to hide that. If it's not supported, does anyone know of a way to hide the title bar? Or how to make alt-tab not lag while in full screen mode?
I found this software that does what I wanted: https://westechsolutions.net/sites/WindowedBorderlessGaming/home
But if there's a way to do it natively that would be cool

Supporting this is somewhere in our larger set of "TODO" goals, but I don't remember the status right now. I think, at one point, it was something we were working on for the Vulkan renderer, specifically.
I don't think we support bordless windowed-mode right now, but I'll have to check.

In the meantime, if that tool ends up not working for people for whatever reason, I've been using this one for *years* now: http://runtimeterror.com/tools/fullscreenizer/
Instead of using a hotkey within your focused window like the one you posted, this presents a list of running applications.
Just if you want more options.

So, just as a note on this.. I'm running in Vulkan right now on an NVIDIA GPU, and if your game resolution is the same as your display resolution, that renderer defaults to "windowed full screen" or "borderless windowed mode" (it's not like a specially selectable "thing", it's just how it works).
No extra apps required.

The only reason I'm still using the DX11 driver is due to issues with getting Reshade (a tool which lets you inject post processing effects into games) to work with vulcan in general. Not that i'd really recommend Reshade for use while playing, but for screenshot generation playing with the effects can be fun. If I could use Vulcan with reshade, I would, since you've indicated that'll be the driver of choice eventually.
Dunno why Hawk is using DX11/other though.
