Hi all, recently came back to try out VO and I had to pick a side. Think I elected Itani, then set out on some easy mining to get back into it. I get attacked instantly wherever I go, I think this is because I'm actually in TPG space!

As a returning noob am I better to hightail it to Itani for relative safety, or can I get enough rep relatively quickly to not get my ass handed to me on every jump?

Only died once, but has to escape several times a bit quick 😀

I only got a couple of small ships and a couple mil.credits. noob as I said..

Normally an Itani character would be welcome in UIT space, which I'm guessing is what you mean (TPG is a corporation, they have a few stations, but they're a "minor" faction, compared to the major nations); but perhaps your character isn't for some historical reason..

I don't know what kind of faction standing situation your character may be in, so I'd suggest going back to Itani space until you're able to get comfortable in the game and figure out what's going on.
