Understanding ship speed and energy
I need help understanding ship speed and energy stamina. I favor something that is quick but doesnt use all of its energy when fighting bots. Im sure this will be a small ship of some sort. I also like a cargo ship of some type that is like this.
I do not know how to look at the charts and establish what I favor,,,if thats possible, lol.
Thanks

I assume you're talking about the details shown on this screen?
speed:
In Vendetta Online, your ship speed and velocity and whatnot, its all based on realistic physics models. What you need to know is not how the math works, but the effects combined with experience. Here's the basics.
1) All ships have 'mass'. So do all addons and all loot that you pick up.
2) All ships have some amount of 'thrust'.
3) All ships have a maximum limit on their total speed.
Your ship's acceleration is a combination of its thrust (more thrust == faster movement), and its mass (more mass == less movement). Your ship will increase in speed fairly efficiently up to a certain point, then the acceleration slows down, until it finally reaches that total limit.
There's also a ship's turning speed and its weight distribution, but that only applies to rotations, and you'll pick this up MUCH better through just experiencing each ship more than anything.
energy:
In Vendetta Online, your currently equipped power cell determines your energy capacity and regen speed, and the addons you use and your ship's turbo usage determine your actual usage. Your usage is always zero unless you're actively firing or turbo-ing, or both. Only if your energy usage is greater than your recharge rate will your power cell actually get depleted.
However, your request for a ship that 'doesn't use all its energy' speaks that you might not be flying correctly? Either
1) You are using high-energy equipment and just need to learn how to let your power cell recover, or
2) You are *constantly* firing instead of only firing in bursts, wearing out your energy before you're actually ready, or
3) You are turbo-ing around in a high-turbo-drain ship when you probably shouldn't be.
Without seeing how you fight, I can't help you much with your MAIN request here. However, I can recommend you watch my Vendetta Online basic flight and combat essentials tutorial on Youtube.
Here are also some miscellaneous tips:
• Pick addons that suit your needs. Neutron blasters are versatile, hence why they're a staple of combat in VO.
• Pick a ship that suits your needs. There is no one-size-fits-all glove that is also excellent. Vultures are GREAT at fighter combat due to their maneuverability and slim profile. Ragnaroks are great at bombing static targets. Behemoths are trading vessels, and struggle in most forms of anything else.
• Learn to manage your distance - shoot your target, then back off and recover before going in again.
• Don't rely on your hull in combat. The first step to winning is to avoid taking damage in the first place. Use those thrusters!
• And finally, have fun! Death is very low-risk in Vendetta Online. Credits are cheap, and the only thing you really lose when you die is your time.

Thank you for your time! I was looking for a good and (im sure light) cargo ship to fight a bot and then collect drops. Ya know, something that can move in quickly and back out.
I use a joystick,I cant fly well with a mouse but Ive noticed the mouse seems ,ummm, more or easier to control ship, not as jerky as a stick. But with a mouse Im all over my desk top.lol.
Im no pvper,I get ticked off at myself, hahaha.
I get in a fight, pvp or pve and I end up rolling very much, moving in and back. I do ok against most bots lots of luck.
Thanks again, love you guys for the game and time you spend on it.
