Suggest a best plugin or way to target something ?
I recall a target list plugin but been so long I don't know what they were and so many to choose from now.
Currently I just bring up the in game list and select a target with a bind ?
Would a plugin be any different or would that be more of an overlay I can select while not losing site of my ship etc.

There are two popular plugins that specifically fulfill this, targetless and mdi-targetlist.
mdi-targetlist:
This is Draugath's extensible solution. On its own, it provides a lightweight and reliable sensor log directly on your HUD. You can add more functionality through other addons, like RoidDB. It is updated frequently and is my go-to choice.
targetless:
This is an all-in-one package by Drazed, providing the sensor log suite and other solutions. The interface is appealing, but its heavy (your performance will be impacted, especially in large or busy sectors) and may not play nice with your interface or other plugins.
