Hello all, just have a question about being stuck. I accidentally violated the NFZ on a mission in Deneb, but it was just a bot so the KoS is expired. But I was still killed and then respawned in Odia. I'm a new player so I can't really fight back against much, but whenever I try and leave Odia, I'm almost immediately killed by other players.

Is there any way to get out of Greyspace? I was really enjoying the game, but I don't really want to just start over again, and I can't see a way to get back to playing. Is there some sort of mechanism for getting back that I'm not aware of?

The players your coming across are usually nationalists who are going through and looking for a fight. Other times they are pirates, who you can easily avoid or can pay for passage out. If needed however, you can ask someone to ferry you out of Odia back into your nationspace

If you are new to the game and dont know, they might not be players. Unaligned Pirates (Unrats) are a NPC annoyance which spawn randomly in greyspace and blockade the wormholes until they are defeated. If you weren't hailed and the player names had an asterisk before thier name then they were NPC unrats.
Best suggestion for low levels is to buy a Centurion and the best powercell you can get and try to outrun them to the wormhole. You can also lead them away from the wormhole, jump to another sector, then jump back into the wormhole sector and make a run for the wormhole to escape since they will still be out where you left them.

Step 0: Make sure your temp kos with your home nation is expired.

Step 1: Buy a Centurion Mk1 and turbo in one direction. Once you get killed, buy the same load out and turbo in the other direction. You will eventually lose your attackers.

Step 2: Go to a NON corvus Station (In Odia that would be C2 and H6).

Step 3: HOME

Step 4: Shoot anything in the nfz. Just once. Do not kill the target. This will violate the NFZ and you will be rehomed to your home nation.
