I joined this game a number of years ago but never got far due to other games being in my active list at the time. A newsletter reminded me of my account and it's currently downloading for the linux client.

I'm getting bored of the current MMO on the plate and looking for some space fun.

Previously, I was playing SWG for many years pre-CU, CU, NGE. Then post shutdown EMU. It got tired.

Spending hours and hours in space trying to collect the perfect parts to reverse engineer wasn't something I could do anymore so... Here I am.

I'm not sure which direction I'll be going in this game. Typically, i'm a miner/crafter with a preference for space fighting. I don't know if this game has a ground element yet, but I"ll soon find out.

Anyway. I do recall having spent a few hours in this game in the past so we'll see if my character is still where I left it. I may just delete the old toon and start over. We'll see.

Anyway, I hope to make some great friends here.

I typically name my toons Thgilsrooc. If you know me from other MMO's send a shout out. It would be good to reconnect with some old buds.

Welcome back. There's no ground element but lots of mining, some crafting, and plenty of space fighting. Best to stay out of greyspace until you can afford to lose ships and cargo.

Can't find a 100% carbonic asteroid so it's slow going.

Looking forward to levelling up to bigger, more effective ships and equipment.
