I feel for incarnate.
I can't say how often in my life, at work mostly, I will be the guy who knows more about a situation than anyone else in the room. I can also say how frustrating it is when people who know far less insist that they are right based on their own flawed understanding. One problem is people are either not mature enough to take a step back and see what they are missing or to Listen to someone explain to them what they are not seeing or understanding.
Another problem is some just lack the intelligence to ever understand the nuisances or whole scope of the problem.
That is in my world and from 1st hand experience.
This is probably his situation:
He has information we just don't have. Game metrics, his own vision, things we may not even be aware of.
Then he has us players bitching and complaining about things based off our imperfect viewpoint, and too often based off our own bias and preconceived notions which may likely be wrong.
I am totally guilty of being part of the problem myself.
Let's all just:
Be patient.
Be polite.
Realize we are all here because we love VO.
Accept that it is Incarnate's vision that has gotten us this far and we should have some trust in him to get us the rest of the way.
Accept that we are all human mistakes will be made.
Things won't be perfect for everyone all the time.
Accept that Incarnate knows more about the game than any of us.
Realize how special it is to have a developer interact with community the way he does.
We can't on one hand have a guy interacting with the community on an unprecedented level, until he is almost like one of the guys and on the other hand expect him to act like some robot. Or that every statement should be like it came from a PR department and crafted by 12 lawyers.
Sometimes we come at it him like he is a guy in an enemy guild or something, and then get offended if he is a little terse in his response. We should be glad he responds. Try and get anything like the interaction with 99% of developers out there. It isn't going to happen
Like csgno1 said in the thread the other day. We get a bit emotional about this stuff because we really care.
A step back can be helpful

I appreciate that. I really am trying to do the best I can, for everyone.
I have always taken the view that I play the game as I find it. No matter what decisions are made, I can find a way to advance my objectives and enjoy playing.
Stay the course, Inc. I, for one, have no quarrels with you.

Agrees , everybody needs a break at some point but incarnate keeps working on and on @_@ and then he has to deal with everything - tickets/forums etc.
Hail Incarnate \O/.
Also please don't forget to give this awesome space Mmorpg 5/5 rating on google playstore people.

+1 to being nicer to the devs.
Even tho I don't like some of the updates, VO is still VO. And VO is great because of Inc and Ray
