Hey devs. Gotta question
why am I muted for hate speech when I said "fascism is good" how is that hate speech?
I don't know the context, but you most definitely didn't get muted for just one sentence. You probably said more than that, or something much worse.

Yeah, it means someone reported the sentence, but the devs/mods usually look into other stuff you said.

The /report system is player driven and may, in certain cases, result in a 10 minute mute. Incarnate himself reviews all the /reports and may issue an additional mute if he feels it is appropriate. He has taken action against deliberate inappropriate use of /report as well.
Some apparently believe that I have been handing out 10 minute mutes. I have not manually muted anyone since /report was instituted, preferring to use /report as it is intended. If I take guide action to mute someone, I make sure there is no doubt as to who took the action and why.

I didn't just validate the one sentence, I validated all of these (from meepers/cherrypoppins), which were user-submitted by other players (four different people, actually):
1) because i have the National Socialist Order flag as my pfp. which is a swastika withba sword
2) fascism is good
3) anyway, see yall. remember to question everything kids. including the holocaust, which is the only major event that is illegal to question in several countries
All that had led to this was you privately being asked by a Discord moderator to not use a swastika in your Discord profile picture. You were only kicked from the Discord when you didn't respond. You then made the above public in-game rant.
- We are definitely not into holocaust-denying, nazi-oriented propoganda. You're welcome to freely express these things in other places on the internet, but not in our game or forums. This is private propery, you have no freedom of speech here.
- We also have a general "no real-world politics" policy. It doesn't matter what the politics are, they aren't welcome in 100. It doesn't matter if someone is pro-Biden, or pro-Trump, or pro-whatever, all of it makes the game less of a place where others can "escape" reality and play in an imaginary sci-fi future. Anything that skews into real-world politics gets muted, it doesn't matter if it's "fascism" or "communism" or whatever else in between.
- A 10-minute mute is really just enough to get someone's attention and cause them to correct their action, it doesn't usually require a lot of explanation. If people do have questions, they usually open a Support Ticket, as opposed to a dramatic forum thread.
The entire user-submitted "Report" system is still quite new, and still actively in development. For instance, you were supposed to be muted for 1 hour, over the Holocaust comment. But, due to a bug, only the 10-minute mute was applied. We've since fixed that bug, and corrected your mute.
