Enduring Title Question
So, I took the Enduring Title mission, but nothing seems to show up in my character stats page with achievements or when I target "Tears of the Unpaid."
Is there any way to know if someone that passes me has an Enduring Title?
To those from whom I stole RHA, thank you.

I can't see any difference on mine except that the name is now colored when I go to the 'select ship' menu.
Will the history be added to the dent's charinfo/accomplishments page?
Or to the ships item info page in the pda?
Like here?

Sorry about that. The Enduring History is now displayed in the information panel in the Inventory menu. Apparently there was an oversight in the previous release, which I was not able to test personally.
At the moment, Enduring History is purely local for the "owning" player, and doesn't display remotely, for other people's ships. There'll be a discussion about that possibility in the future.

Having the name of the ship be a different color is helpful too, easily worth the 10 RHA, at least to me given how I clutter up station inventories.
So I have 10 RHA and started the Enduring Title mission when it said: make sure you are satisfied with color, name, and livery... so my question is if I dont have a livery and probably won't have for another 2 months yet, what happens if i make Enduring title but want to add livery later on is that impossible?
It is not possible to dynamically add Livery (or change the Livery) of a vessel after you have created an Enduring Title for it. The visual state of the ship becomes a static concept.
It is possible to remove the Enduring Title from a capship, reverting it back to a generic state (and losing the history associated), and then creating a new Enduring Title, with the addition of a Livery, although that process will cost an additional 10 RHA.
My recommnedation would be to get pretty secure with the visual look of your ship, before creating an Enduring Title.
The Enduring Title system will continue to evolve in some ways, but the basic construct of an "Enduring" tradable ship is fairly "static"; don't expect it to be very flexible.

Thank you that is what I needed to know so I'll wait till i get the livery
So, when an enduring vessel dies it keeps its Enduring Title? Or is that a whole new 10 widgets of RHA?
I'm a little embarrassed to ask at this point. Heh.

Yes, the state persists across destruction of the ship. The destruction is logged to the Enduring History of the ship, however, and that history is permanent.
Think of it as a way for a ship to be truly "unique" within the game environment, without imbalancing anything else about content acquisition. Thus, you can't just "buy" the ship itself from another player; we avoid pay-to-win by making it transfer as a Title that can then be applied to the correct class of "generic" vessel, re-creating the unique vessel with its complete history.
But as there is only one unique Title that can be applied, there can only be a single instance of the given ship, it remains unique in the game world, and can persist and record an unlimited "lifetime" of events through its history. Maybe it gets used during a famous battle, or is owned by a player of some note.
By way of an example, imagine if Conflict Diamond's "first" Trident existed in the game as a single persistent, trade-able construct. Or if Ninjr's best-known EMS ship had been "passed on" to another player, prior to his death. The content itself can be a trade-able marker of events, of the community, and the history of the game.

Please don't be. I'm embarassed that you need to ask.. it's my fault: while there's some data available in the mission, I haven't been broadly forthcoming about the system. After it was initially released to production, we had a bunch of server-side challenges around it (now resolved), which basically delayed the intended Newsletter to discuss it, etc.
Obviously, the system is still pretty "early" in many regards, as well.

Is there any way to number the Enduring Titles.
It seems to me that as time goes on, and if indeed these become transferable, low-numbered Enduring Titles might be more desirable.

Agreed, I would love an order number.
Yes, that would be good to have as well.
