I want to move my ships and equipment to a new home station. It doesn’t appear that there’s a transfer option or service in game. So I’m thinking of simply flying them from one spot to the other. That seems simple enough. The problem is I can find no way to load my equipment onto my trade ship to take it to the home station. Am I missing something here?

Make sure you unequip the addons you want to load into your trade ship.

That's exactly how you move your stuff. Just like if you rented a U-Haul and moved houses.

load it on a ship and move. Don't forget to set your home station.

Also, you'll get used to having repositories of equipment all over the place and changing your home station when you're in a location you'd like to play from. You won't need to keep moving stuff unless you just want to have it in one location.
