Will vendetta come to oculus quest?
Im selling my Oculus go so I can get a bunch of games for the upcoming Oculus quest. But the problem with this is that VO won't be on the quest. It's gonna suck to give up my favorite vr space game. Are there any plans to bring it to the quest?
Unfortunately, I don't know if or when Vendetta Online will be released for the Quest, and that is not an issue where I have any control.
As a result, I don't currently recommend players purchase Quest devices, with any expectation of playing Vendetta Online.
I may have more to say about this down the road, perhaps in the next month or two, but at the moment I don't. Sorry that I can't be more specific.

You need the oculus store installed to play VO, but you cannot get it on there; the store will launch when VO launches, and if a rift is connected then I believe it automatically starts VR mode for the game?
VO will be added to your library afterwards. Last I checked, revive cannot see it, and you'd have to manually launch with revive's injector? But i never got it to work...
I've got my eyes on the Rift S, so unless someone beats me to it [very likely, itll be a while before my wallet can handle it] i'll let you know if it works on that headset :P

That's too bad. Is there anyone you would recommend we write? VO is absolutely a driver with respect to adoption for me; I will likely purchase a Quest if VO is available for it, I almost definitely will not if it isn't. This isn't out of indignation or anything like that: VO is simply among the most compelling reasons to use VR in its current form.

VO was never released onto the Rift store. We've always offered "side-load" style support for the Rift.
The game is officially available on the GearVR and Oculus Go stores, and that has not changed.

If Oculus don't bring VO to the Quest they must be mad ! If it wasn't for VO, I would have stopped using the Go months ago. VO is, by far, the game with the most content on that platform, everything else you're bored with after a few hours.
yoda, what error are you getting? VO should ask if you want to run with VR support when it starts and you have a Rift plugged in (and VO actually detects it).
He isnt using a rift; he's got some other headset [he said he's using riftcat and revive, anyways]
More power to your goals, Yoda, but let's keep this on-topic for the Quest, as I may be referencing it down the road. Maybe start a separate thread for what you're doing.
For anyone interested, I was able to sideload Vendetta for GearVR on my Quest, and it works great!
Awesome. Thank you!
If you're able to pm me on discord @Cris#2692 I would love to know how you did it. i've got an oculus quest just waiting for it haha
