Glad you like it, we try to be supportive of local educational institutions.
It's not entirely accurate.. the original team didn't all go to high-school together, or even at the same time, and he's drawn some conclusions from the website and other areas about some things that seem confused or wrong. Other things became entirely reversed from the interview, like I explicitly do see the rest of the online world becoming more toxic, outside of gaming.
But hey, it's student piece, and I appreciate the intent. Glad it's enjoyable; take the content with a bit of a grain of salt.

“What’s been the problem that I have observed, is that toxicity has become normalized in the last couple of years, says Bergman. “And I don’t want to say it’s expected but people are used to it much more than they used to be. And I would say that’s grown worse…People’s tendency to have no interest in listening to one another, people’s tendency to pursue being self-righteous at the cost of all else, these things have trended in a direction that I have not found very pleasant.”
Bergman says toxicity is a problem companies need to figure out how to address better, and that its one that a lot of people are trying to solve and improve upon. He also mentions that he expected Vendetta Online and other games like it to have this sort of issue with toxicity, but he didn’t see it spreading to the greater online world. He also notes that the large portion of toxic behavior is generated by a very loud vocal minority."
A large portion of the bacteria and mold growth that grows in a food preparation area starts from a very tiny sample that flourishes given the right conditions. Things only become normalized when there is a failure to inhibit.

I was talking about the relatively recent normalization of that behaviour in society as a whole, across all social media, not just our game.
Fair enough, I can agree with that.
