How do I get the behemoth heavy miner?
I asked this question in chat and someone told me I have to mine 15000 ores? Is this true? Also does anyone have any tips to give me on how to achieve this quicker?
you have to mine AND SELL 15,000cu of ore, yes. its a pain.
you can use the ores through missions, instead of selling it. as far as speed tips... sorry, bud.

Actually, you don't have to mine them yourself, they just have to be mined. I'd suggest getting the Tunguska Marauder,2 HD beams,UC cell and camping out in nation space. I did it the first time in Dau I-7,then somewhere in Divinia the next. You can get it done in a few hours if you're dedicated(5-6?), First time i did it was about 7 ish hours non stop mining iirc. Have fun.
EDIT: What i mean is,You can have a friend mine/jettison and you can pick up the ore and sell it,it works the same. I had one of my old friends help the second time and it sped it up an hour or so.

Where can I buy a tunguska marauder?
You still have to have mined the ore at some point hellcat... the way the mission works is with flags set.
When you mine a certain ore, that ores flag gets increased (say, carbonic), so you mine 1000 carbonic ores, your mission flag for this badge now has 1000 carbonic mined (but it still does not count as you don't have 1000 sold). You can now go and buy 1000 carbonic ore from latos n2, and sell it (or scoop from another player, like you say) and then you will notice, when you have sold 1000 of them, the badge stops counting the rest until you go and mine some more carbonic.
In any case, you have to MINE and SELL. You can do them in any order, buy all the ores (not the normal stations, that wont work as that isn't mined stuff) from Latos N-2, and sell it back to the station, repeat a few times and then go AFK mining on a roid made up of some of the ores you sold. When the counter stops, either find another roid made of one of the other ores you bought, or go back to the station and repeat above. This is the only shortcut I know that works. Maybe when you did this trick you had already mined some ore and spat it into space, but I know 100% the way I describe it is correct.

I'm still confused
No confusion needed, simply put: you have to MINE and SELL 15k ores. Simple. It is supposed to be hard to get, there is no real magic bullet.
Just mine and sell 15,000cu ore.
Ok thanks. I'm almost at 1000. I also have a question for something I know is gonna be way harder to get. What is the easiest to get capital ship? And how do I get it? Thanks again for clearing everything up lmao
There is no "easy" way to get a capital ship. The "easiest" capital ship to manufacture is the Goliath class freighter. You can learn more about it here: http://www.vo-wiki.com/wiki/Goliath_class_freighter .
You need at least combat 5 to accept the required manufacturing missions, and at least trade 9 to purchase a Behemoth XC, which you will need to move some of the parts.
Finally, most of the required manufacturing missions are only available at certain conquerable stations. Getting access to a station usually requires the help of an organized guild. More information about those stations here: http://www.vo-wiki.com/wiki/Station_Conquest
Manufacturing a capital ship is difficult. You need to farm thousands of drops from bots, mine thousands of cu of ore, and haul thousands of cu of commodities. Also, there are several "tiers" to making the capital ship, meaning that you will need to manufacturing lower-tier items that feed into higher-tier items. For example, an external hull assembly requires manufacturing several internal bulkhead assemblies, and these internal bulkhead assemblies require manufacturing several reinforced bulkheads, and these reinforced bulkheads require manufacturing several fused composite plating and fusiform silksteel alloy.

Why did they make it so difficult? I get that it's an end game thing. But thats super grindy.
Like said above, the cap ships were added due to community pressure, and are not yet a finished product. People were all like "we do not care we need capship NAOW" so they were added in their current state, with the requirements they currently have to make sure only those who are really serious about having one can get access.
I suppose having 500+ capships floating about is already bad enough, once you realise there is no real content for them. I mean, there are stations in every system, and players who tend to grind for this stuff tend to be able to dock at them all. I suppose they get a bit of use for commodity farming, and the odd confrontation but beyond that there really is no game play aspect for them. Do not take my words as golden, because I am not a developer so do not have any insight beyond any other long term player, but my bets are is that once there is some real point to having a capship (other than bragging rights of course - and let us face it, pointing out you have no life is hardly something to brag about) then they will possibly be more interesting (and maybe even easier) to get. Maybe one day you will be able to slap down some cold hard cash to get one, who knows? But right now? It is grind to show your are worthy, so do or do not.
There is no try...

Somewhat tangentially, cap ship manufacturing also supports the player economy. Perhaps rather than trying to get a cap ship you should try to get one Reinforced Bulkhead. You might see what I mean. You can grind your way through it or you can keep an ear to the ground and use your business acumen.
This isn't just Quixotic; building a network of trusted individuals in VO isn't so different than in the business world. Just be careful not to get taken advantage of.
I guess I'm saying yes it's hugely difficult but "grind" isn't even the term I'd use because there isn't usually a straight way forward or any single metric definitively measuring your progress. Getting Trade 9 is a grind, building a cap ship is like deciphering the Voynich manuscript.

OMG, that's 313 Centaur loads of ore ! At 10 minutes each, that's just about 7 working days assuming 8 hours / day which is probably around $1,500 at the average US wage.
A subscription might be cheaper.

Yeah, its not something you grind intently. At least, not for normal pilots. Its more sorta something you just eventually hit and take benefit from.
