Just started up with VO in the past 2 weeks. Knew nothing about it - highly impressed. BSGO "refugee" here after the shutdown end Jan. Played there 7 years and with the same "Wing" 6 years.

As with BSGO I found myself immediately immersed in this game. Like and really appreciate the diversity in the game. More than 2 factions was refreshing. The matrix of ships and equipment was really impressive. The flying experience is like a dream. And the whole multi-platform capability. So cut a long story short really became drawn in. Awesome looking game.

I'm following the same path. Working through the tutorials and being a complete noob. Before reading the warnings here I figured grey space was not smart to hang around. Besides there's much to do in learning just in your backyard.

Anyways. Don't mind me if you find me scratching your paint backing whiup te I get going here. I'm still comprehending the whole make up. I get it. I like it. I have a lot to learn.

Welcome ! Just shout out on channel 1 or 100 in the game if you need any help with anything. It's well worth working through the missions at first though to thoroughly get the hang of things - there's plenty of exciting content there that entertains, educates and prepares you.

Thanks Slash. I'll definitely need help as I work my way through the into the upper levels. I can already tell the hive missions are a serious challenge right now. I'm definitely going to need help growing in combat experience.

What is this i hear about an expansion? Maybe i shouldn't have rampaged after all. VO is a simple game with it's complexities, and once you master them you can be nearly unstoppable. I will give you a lesser known tip, don't play VO for a ridiculous amount of time a week. I used to play 15-16 hours a day and i'm certain i did everything that was available to me, which made me bored with it much faster than i should have. VO is wonferful, with it's limits. See you amongst the stars.

EDIT: and no, you can't fly to planets.

Thanks @Hellcat. No worries on ridiculous time. I play maybe 30 minutes a time maybe at most a few times a day and then several days in between. It will take me forever to build like some but I'm not in a race. Enjoy flying, building, etc.
