Cool. One thing I often have to fix is when people link to a page rather than an image. It would be great if you could cover that.
i can try? ill use fraps for old times sakes. its on my to do list
Fraps? Dont you have Windows 10?
Most people seem to just copy the link provided by sites like imgur, which as whistler knows is just a link to the page the image is on, the easiest way to get the URL of the actul image is to right click it, and select "copy image location" - this puts the URL of the image in the clipboard. Another way is to click the "share links" option, and to copy the code for a BB forum, this way it even includes the [img] tags needed.
Not sure why a video would be needed for this! But you can do it in Windows 10 by just pressing Alt+Win+R and select "this is a game" when prompted (you may have to do this combo a second time the first time this happens). Fraps is slowwwww assed man!

lol yes i have windows 10,
to post an image use the commands [ img ] and [ /img ](with no spaces) on the first and last parts of an image link.
i will demonstrate,
[img] https://i.ytimg.com/vi/bwIfc3dVuU8/maxresdefault.jpg [/img] with no spaces results in
go to the google, elect desired image, and right click. select "copy image address". paste that in between these two commands in the proper order. and voila.
