The Counter-Strike-ification of the community was one of my reasons for leaving Vendetta.
Due to increased pressure, the SDF has RE-given support to the Serco Dominion. Itani and NT traders and newbs however aren't protected anymore and the SDF considers all craft but EC-88s and Centaurs possible hostiles and will take the action nessicary (as the pilot deems fit, if you are a trader or are peaceful, transmit it over coms and the SDF will break off, if you return fire however, then the SDF craft is authorized to continue the battle until the death of one of the craft)
Why isn't impartial banned yet? He seems incapable of responding with anything other than 'stfu'. I'm sure that will be his rejoinder to this post as well... Whatever happened to the 'Be Nice' requirement?

Oh and here's an idea: If a guide speaks to you in game because you were verbally abusing a player, just admit fault and move on.

Really, Serotonin, that attitude has been unnecessary and been ranted about by _BOTH_ the only forum moderator and the lead developer. I want you to clean up your attitude or get the hell out of this game.
Also, Pyroman_Ace, that's flamebait, take it to role-playing.

I know of something that's worse: antagonizing both parties involved. Not a wise thing to do when you're supposed to be the one enforcing the rules in the first place.
What I find even worse is the fact that you just compared me and one other person with the likes of Impartial. That's an insult all in its own.

I didn't fall for it. Just one of my usual tactics. If I feel like I'm being attacked, I tear apart the offender's posts and turn their words against them.
And yes, I also agree this thread should be closed.

Hehe.. I was about to edit the "fall for it" part. Anyway... I'm going to stop using this thread.

This is not true. I am a mediocre pilot and have successfully amassed 1/2 Million in credits and close to that in stocks. The problem is unwillingness to put forth the effort to gain money to get your ships. I fly 3...a Centaur for trading, a Vult for defending and a tricked out bus for botting.
I think it is necessary for:
1. A minimum credit balance (like 500k) before a pilot is allowed into a hidden sector that sells elite ships.
2. A limit for /givemoney to another pilot (not VSE)...this should only be used for start-up funds for n00bs or repaying pilots for honest mistakes that result in destroyed ships/lost cargo.
3. Another level of guides that report directly to the Guides. Enough to keep a constant presence in-game. Make everyone aware that someone with a certain prefix has the power to immediately /mute, /fine or /ban and that the only remedy for a pilot is to discuss the problem with a guide or, if initialized, a Vendetta court.

I've got a really good idea for all you uptight people about the situation going on in vendetta. LEAVE THE GAME!!! No seriously, if the game is making you upset, go play something else, like Halo or Homeworld 2. Keep away from the game for like a month. Then if you want, go back to vendetta and see if the universe has changed, or maybe your attitude to the universe.
