Thank you incarnate and Raybondo!
(Not sure if this should be done on this forum topic area or if someone has done it before but..)
I'd like to say thank you to the dev team for working so hard and diligently on Vendetta online for so long and consistently. It's a large game with many platforms and the fact that you two deal with all of it as to make sure it works as long as possible even making it better bit by bit. I think a lot of players are very grateful for your response time and quick fixing. I know i am =D
Thank you!

Thanks, we genuinely appreciate it.
Everything we do, every side-contract or left-turn or whatever, has always been for the specific purpose of improving VO. Using that, we've built up some capital to let us put a lot of linear time into the development of the next major expansion, as well as be able to launch and market that expansion.
"Linear" dev-time is critical, because major changes take so much longer to implement if you're having to switch tasks constantly. That has long been a big part of our challenge: we don't have a separate "dev" team and a "live" team, like most MMO companies. We're the whole thing, this makes it difficult to maintain focus on a single project for months on end, when you keep having to also fight "fires" (and there are many kinds of "fires").
I don't contend that my historical decisions have all been ideal, or anything like that.. I'm muddling along, and dealing with the unexpected, as much as anyone would be. But, I do feel like (knock on wood), we're in a pretty decent place and headed in a good direction. We haven't made changes this fundamental to the game since 2004. I'm excited for what's going to be possible.
Have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

Thank you, you did a terrific job keeping Vendetta Online up and running. Keep up the great work Incarnate and Raybondo.

Personally I dont think the people here thank you enough for all the hard work you all put into developing Vendetta Online much less keeping it running. I for one hope you never give up. In spite of what the rest may say or how they complain. There is a lot more happening in the background that we may never know or understand.

Cant wait for verse 2.0
Thank you so much for making this awesome game, I dunno what I'd be spending my free time on if it wasnt VO, so thanks
Also, like Dilan said: we need to thank you guys way more than we do.
PS. Never give up you got a great game here :)

This game has gotten me through some shitty times, and for that i am forever greatful. Thanks Inc/ray...
I'm relatively new (character: DenTek Collector XX62) been playing on an Oculus Go from the day it was released on that platform earlier this year and I'm completely addicted. I know people complain that there's never anybody else on and the chat often descends into infantile slanging matches but actually there is so much depth, freedom and interaction which is possible in this game. It's a winning formula and it's perfectly suited to mobile VR which is only just getting started as a gaming platform.
Ever since the 1980's when I played Elite, I imagined how cool a multiplayer version would be and you guys have actually built it and it's better than I envisaged !

I am also a VR user and think this game is one of the best on that platform! I know a lot of PC users think that their version is the only competitive version, but it isn't. I do OK on VR and can hold my own quite well against even some of the (self proclaimed) best pilots.
Anyway, just wanted to add my name to the "thanks" list, great game and I really am surprised it isn't more popular in the VR world - I was highly surprised to find that NOT ONE of my hardcore gamer friends have ever heard of VO when I started posting videos about my VR experiences, and a couple of them have since signed up (sorry 'bout that lol - couple of idiots :P you know who you are!). I guess one of the reasons people get so upset about things when they feel wronged is that they also care a lot about this game, the amount of crying when things don't always go their way is quite cute really, and you should be proud of this devs!

:D
If only the game supported wmr, then I could join the vr pilots :P
No rush - i cant imagine how difficult keeping the game running, let alone making new content, could be.

You can use Revive to play Rift games (Steam and Oculus store) on most WMR devices, of course you will need a VR capable GPU to be able to play with anything like a decent frame rate, the nVidia *50 series cards will not pull it off. GTX970 or above (1050 and 1060 are not above, but the latter may be OK with lower detail) should be fine. At $2.99 the Rift client should be worth a shot.

I started playing this game back in '07 and after a long hiatus, I'm back and immediately addicted again. Thanks for making a great game! Now if only I could get more people to RP with me (use /rp to chat to the RP channel!).
I wouldnt mind testing out a vr on say steam or external download as im more then capable to run it on my htc vive in steated mode (seated uses controller just like rift) and as both use the steam vr to work oculous and htc should work i imagine
